On June 13th, at 5,30 p.m, in the neoclassic "Limonaia" Showroom, located on top of the Villa Strozzi Park, the sixth edition of Aerografica will open its doors to some Top Masters and a wide group of emerging young artists, from Italy and abroad, with their artworks, painted, partially or completely with an airbrush. All the airbrush art forms will be there: Fine Art, Illustration, Custom, Textile, Bodypaintig, etc.

The Show will be open till July 5th, with the following timetable:
Saturday June 13th, Grand-Opening at 5,30 p.m. Cocktail to follow.

Sunday 14th and the other week-ends, 4 p.m. till 10,30 p.m.
During the week, 6,30 p.m. till 10,30 p.m.
Sunday July 5th, 3 p.m. till 7 p.m.

 

GUERRINO BOATTO (I) is probably the most famous Italian Airbrush artist worldwide, with agents in Italy, Germany and Japan. During his 25 years long career as an illustrator, he gained many top prizes and a fame that extends far beyond the airbrush world. Amongst his main clients there are Alitalia, CocaCola, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Ibm, Levis, Marlboro, Mercedes Benz and Pepsi. His most famous subjects are the cars and the most recent photorealistic views of Venice.

 

GEORG HUBER (D), one of the most famous and pretigious amongst the German airbrush artists, begun his carreer by studying at the famous Burke Grahic studio in Munich, and then specialized in Fine Art as a self-thought student. His very personal technique mixes airbrush and conventional paintbrush, and his atmospheres range from the Sense of Wonder of the dreamlike “Traumshaftsbilder" series, to the “on the road” American mith in his most recent series.

 

MAURIZIO FORESTAN (I) is maybe the most recknowned Italian Custom Artist, with. his endless series of painted cars, bikes, and even trucks, as well as smaller artworks like decorated hairdriers and mobile phones. With over 27 years of airbrushing experience under his belt, the Italian Master has collected a very lomg series of important clients and artworks, and became a symbol and main point of reference for those who as artists or simple enthusiasts – are regarding at this fashinating world.

SALVATORE DE VITO (CH) , born in Switzerland from an Italian Family, is one of the greatest airbrusher from the republic. He won twiche the prestigious “Airbrush Award”,the most important world prize for airbrush art, he participate as Special Guest to all the main european Airbrush shows, and has published a lot of articles and reports in all the European airbrush magazines.His paintings became almost legendary,especially those where Salvatore joins skillfully convetional paintbrush technique with the usage of an airbrush.

The Art & Heart Studio "Try-out table" will be active as usual, to freely test various models of the terrific Iwata airbrushes as well as many stunning novelties. Applications to the association and its Airbrush courses, held by the Master Marco Paoletti, will be available as well.

How to get to the Villa Strozzi Lemon Shed:
The  gate of the Villa Strozzi Park, has the  number 77th of Via Pisana, and  is in a widening area on the right, soon before a large notice board. Be aware, the gate is placed on the opposite direction of the traffic. Enter the parking on top, right in front of Polimoda fashion school.

 

BY CAR
For those who are coming from the South - A1 Motorway,  Firenze Certosa exit: follow the directions to Firenze. Once at  Porta Romana take Viale Petrarca  and drive until the roundabout before Ponte alla Vittoria. Then take Via De'Vanni turn left and drive straight (Via del Pignoncino), pass the crossroads and go straight.

For those who arrive from  the West - from A1 Motorway (Firenze Scandicci exit) get in FI-PI-LI Highway in direction to Florence until the roundabout, pass it and get in Viale Talenti. Go straight and follow the directions to Firenze Centro / Via Pisana / Siena

For those who arrive from  the North - A1/A11 Motorway, Firenze Nord (Airport) exit: follow signs to Firenze, after the end of the slip road, get on the bridge Viadotto all'Indiano, which crosses the river. Get out at the 2nd  exit and drive through Via Canova, until the roundabout, turn left and get in Viale Talenti, follow the signs to FirenzeCentro / Via Pisana / Siena.

BY TRAIN
Santa Maria Novella  Rail Station. Trains run approximately every two hours. Take the bus Ataf n.12 (Piazzale Michelangelo direction) get off at  Via Giovanni della Casa. Then get in Via Pisana road.

BY BUS
From Downtown  (Bus n.6 A/B/C, dir. Monticelli) and From SMN Rail Station (Bus n.26/27): get off at the second bus-stop in  Via B. Bandinelli. Then cross the road and enter in Via del Pignoncino, and then in Via Giovanni della Casa, then get in Via Pisana. From SMN Rail Station  (Bus n.12): get off at Via Giovanni della Casa, then get in Via Pisana road.

Another successful week-end of art. Great artworks and artists who painted live for all the enthusiasts: R. Frei (Bodypainting), G. Guazzi (Illustration), A. Penaluna (Fine art), Zecki Zellinger (Textile) and Claudia Raddi (ConfectioneryI). The next day, seminars with the guest artists took place as usual. All the events had a great success in terms of audience.

All the artists presented amazing artworks, such as original illustrations and paintings, pieces of Custom Painting and Textile Art, allof them painted by airbrush.

Three full days were spent celebrating the talents of many artists, some of them exhibiting for the first time in Italy! Custom artist M. Forestan (I) showed how to paint on metal surfaces, M. Wilkinson (GB) and R. Frei (CH) demonstrated Fine Art and Illustration and Zecki Zellinger (A) painted live on a silk foulard. Maurizio Fusi (I) and Claudia Raddi (I) created an original bodypainting, inspired by artist Gustav Klimt. At the end the model "stepped out" from the painting itself thus giving a surrealistic touch to the performance

As usual, Guest Masters held seminars for interested ones. At the end visitors could ask questions directly to the artist. Exhibiting Artists:
