Guerrino
Boatto is probably the most famous Italian
Airbrush artist worldwide, with agents in
Italy, Germany and Japan. During his 25
years long career as an illustrator, he
gained many top prizes and a fame that extends
far beyond the airbrush world. Amongst his
main clients there are Alitalia, CocaCola,
Fiat, Ford, Honda, Ibm, Levis, Marlboro,
Mercedes Benz and Pepsi. His most famous
subjects are the cars and the most recent
photorealistic views of Venice.
Joerg
Hoffmann is also an accomplished Airbrush
Artist, and he is exhibiting for the first
time Italy. His main field is Automotive
Custom Painting, but he is also active in
the field of Illustration and Fine Art Painting,
i.e. his favourite art forms. Joergs has
an experience of over 20 years with the
airbrush under his belt and became renowned
in his homeland as well as abroad for the
unic and personal style. With his astonishing
new ideas and impressive technique he gained
important prizes for Custom Art and the
Swiss Master 2004 in Illustration
and Custom.
Meinrad
Froshin is considered to be one of the top
and most creative European airbrush artists.
Since 1993 he has been working in the fields
of Fine Arts, Illustration, Bodypainting,
Custom Painting and Wall Art. He took part
to agreat number of shows all over Europe
and in the USA, gaining many important prizes.
Since a few years he is cooperating with
hair stylist Uschi Eschbach, thus expanding
his activity to airbrushing on hairdressing.
The two artists have brought their "Crazy
Hair" through all the main European
airbrush events, and performed it again
at Aerografica, in absolute preview for
Italy.
Each
Master had one or two artworks next and
spoke about his career and techniques, and
revealed all his tricks. At the end of each
seminar plenty of time was devoted to the
questions from the audience as well. |

Three
full days were spent celebrating the talents
of many artists, some of them exhibiting
for the first time in Italy! Custom artist
M. Forestan (I) showed how to paint on
metal surfaces, M. Wilkinson (GB) and
R. Frei (CH) demonstrated Fine Art and
Illustration and Zecki Zellinger (A) painted
live on a silk foulard. Maurizio Fusi
(I) and Claudia Raddi (I)
created an original bodypainting,
inspired
by artist Gustav Klimt.
At the end the model "stepped out"
from the painting itself thus giving a
surrealistic touch to the performance
As
usual, Guest Masters held seminars for
interested ones. At
the end visitors could ask questions directly
to the artist.
